• Creativity, Clarity and Calling
This seminar will explore the various ways God can use Christians in the Arts and Media to influence and impact our culture. We will examine different distinctives and callings and look at the various roles, gifting and training needed for both using your gifts in ministry as well a influencing the secular media, arts and entertainment
• Sharing Your Faith with Your Jewish Friends and Colleagues
This seminar is designed to assist you in fulfilling the Great Commission and how to overcome Jewish objections to the Gospel. Can be adjusted for groups outside of the entertainment industry as well.
• Hollywood: Jewish Christian dialogue
Deals with the history and roots of Hollywood, looking at navigating the mindset of Hollywood culture, faith and worldview.
• The Arts, Culture and Theology
Lecture and bible study format. Explores the theological foundations God’s mandate for impacting the Arts and Culture and examines both historical and modern trends in this arena.
• Directing: Techniques and tools for working with actors
This class will deal with identifying and overcoming obstacles in working with actors
• Directing: From Concept to Completion
For those who have already had some experience acting and/or directing. This class will gives an overview of what is needed to put together a project as well as developing a directorial approach to already scripted material
• Developing a Church Drama Ministry
Discusses what is needed to work with volunteers to develop a church Drama ministry. Will vary according to needs of individuals and churches.
• The Building Blocks of Production for Stage
Practicum on the building blocks in putting together a stage production. Deals with overview of a timeline, staff, resources, casting through rehearsal and performances as it relates to a production for stage.Can be modified to fit several formats timewise
• The Building Blocks of Production for Video
Practicum on the building blocks in putting together a stage production. Deals with overview of a timeline, crew, equipment, pre-production through post-production in putting together short for video presentation (in Narrative or documentary formats)Can be modified to fit several formats timewise
• Messiah in the Passover
Presentation of the elements in a passover seder and their symbolism.
• Interfaith Marriage Screening-
Award-Wining documentary of four interfaith couples exploring the challenges of a Jewish- non-Jewish marriage. Running time 45 minutes (plus 15-30 minutes for Questions and introduction)
Can be used as outreach to inter-faith couples or instructional for Christians desiring to learn about targeting this community (now 62 percent)
• God and Religion in Hollywood -45 minute message or longer seminar
Overview of how the Holy Spirit is moving in the media and amongst people in the media.
• Acting-Scene Study (8 week class)
Class will include: scene study, basics of acting technique, creating and building a character
• Mime and Drama in Missions – workshop
Practicum to help those desiring to utilize mime and drama in urban or foreign missions. As part of the workshop a mime or sketch will be developed for use in ministry
